## Privacy

### What the site collects on its own

Nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising, no cookie and no
account. Searching happens in your browser: the query never leaves it as a
page request, which is why a search shows in the address bar after a
`#` and produces no server record of what you looked for.

### What you can choose to send

The forms on this site — the enquiry forms and the dataset order
form — send what you type to Formspree, which delivers it to us by
email. That is your email address, the township or county you name, and
whatever you write. We keep it in order to answer you.

### ⚠️ How we are paid, in plain terms

Two ways, and neither is hidden. We sell access to the compiled dataset and
work on lists — that is the [Pro access](/pro.md) and
[Datasets](/data.md) pages, with prices published. And we intend to
be paid by the firms we pass enquiries to. We have no such arrangement today.
We are nobody's agent, we vouch for nobody, and we do not claim otherwise.

### No personal register here

This site publishes a physical measurement over a survey grid, and the
business names of drilling firms that filed public completion records. It
publishes no individual's name, no home address, no coordinates and no parcel
owner. If you believe something here identifies you personally, write to us
and we will remove it.
